Our tendencies as adults trained by the public school model is to turn (and twist) everything into &quot;educational&quot; and stress out the kids. It makes me think of book reports. I never required my kids to do anything about the books they read because I didn&#039;t want to turn reading into a task--it&#039;s a joy! And when they were excited about what they read, they&#039;d come tell me about it and we&#039;d all get excited and want to learn more. It&#039;s so fun to see all this unfold. Thanks for writing about your family&#039;s journey. :)</description>
